Here at Mountain View Dental it is our goal to provide you
with the very best quality care at reasonable fees. Since we
are convinced that prevention is paramount to maintaining
healthy oral hygiene we also advise and educate our patients
about proper home care.
For the well-being of our patients and our staff every
precaution is taken to insure proper sterilization of all
instruments and dental care areas. Our dental staff wears
protective masks, gloves and eyewear as an added safety
measure for our patients. Our dental are areas are thoroughly
cleaned and sterilized following each patient treatment. |

During your first appointment our dental hygienist will scale
and polish your teeth to remove plaque, tartar and surface
stains. At that time she will also take any necessary x-rays.
The doctor will then perform a thorough clinical exam to check
for any abnormalities such as dental caries (tooth decay),
periodontal disease, oral cancer, and malocclusion or improper
bite. This will provide us with the information necessary to
accurately prepare a treatment plan specific to you. If
treatment is extensive we will need to make a separate
appointment for discussion. |
